Symptoms of Cataplexy: - Jaw starts sagging Treatment for Cataplexy: - tricylic antidepressants If the doctor says that someone has Cataplexy then treatment will get started right away. This is a very rare condition but a really bad accident can happen such as someone dropping something if this is not treated right away. Once treatment begins for Cataplexy the patient will be observed to see if other changes might be needed. In most cases the family plus the one that has Cataplexy also has therapy treatments.
