What are Symptoms of Sleepwalking? |
When a sleepwalker is up walking around they have their eyes wide open; therefore, they are capable of navigating around. The person’s eyes may look as if they have an empty appearance or even glazed. If you are to ask a sleepwalker a question you might not even receive a response. Sleepwalking usually will occur in about an hour or two hours after you have went to sleep. Not only does a person have to be known to get up and walk around, they might just sit up or start doing some more complex activities that consist of going to the bathroom, trying to dress or undress themselves, or even move furniture. Some people even try to drive cars when they are sleeping. Some sleepwalking symptoms are: - Having their eyes open while sleeping. - Blank stare. - May just sit up and look like they are awake, but really still asleep. - Physical walking around. Generally, sleepwalkers do not even remember anything that happened when they wake up the next morning. A sleepwalker’s episode could last for just a few minutes or up to an hour. If the person is not being disturbed, then he or she will go lay back down and sleep.
