What Is Secondary Bedwetting?

Mostly an adult related symptom is when someone can not go to sleep or once they get to sleep cannot stay asleep. Men and women alike suffer from insomnia. 30 to 50% of the United States population has either suffered or are suffering from insomnia. Another 10% of those people suffer from chronic insomnia.

Insomnia is not a stand alone disease. Meaning insomnia is not defined as the certain hours of sleep you get a night, or by the quantity or quality of sleep that you get as the need for sleep and how long various from each individual.

Most people don’t even realize that this could be a medical problem and that there are medications to help you sleep. Normal insomnia will only happen a couple of nights in a row and as humans we disregard it because we are stressed about something.

Then there are those of us who go for days and either don’t sleep or don’t sleep well. This is caused by many reasons. Lack of sleep, or interrupted sleep can also be a dangerous factor if you have certain medical conditions. Lack of sleep seems to aggravate those conditions.
