There are some psychiatric sleep disorders that first came from episodes of just being psychiatric and then lead into sleep disorders for a number of reasons. A couple of the psychiatric sleep disorders might include but not limited to are: - schizophrenia Patients who often go through psychiatric sleep disorders start having problems with hallucinations and often times get very frustrated and even confused. The doctor will help and try to guide you through on what kind of treatment is needed. Patients who are going through this are often on other medications and so the doctor is very careful on what else to put you on or either to see if possibly one medication might need to be reduced. You will be carefully evaluated and often asked to come back many times during your evaluation to make sure that things are going on as planned.
