What are Some Other Treatments for Snoring?

There are many treatments for snoring and your doctor might suggest a few of them to see what one works best. When you are doing these treatments you should write down each day if it helped or not.

Treatments to consider for snoring:

- Exercise at least 20 minutes daily. Exercise is really good for you and can get your blood flowing right.

- Sleep in a dark room and avoid having night lights.

- Don't do any activity that requires a lot of concentration, such as being on the computer, right before bed. Instead do light activities, such as reading a book before sleep.

- Check the colors of your room and see if you have all bright colors. Sometimes loud colors can cause problems with sleeping.

- Listen to the ocean waves and other nature music a few minutes before bed. Try to do some calm and relaxing meditations that will help reduce any stress caused from that day.

If you want to be on medications talk with your doctor about nasal strips to see if it could help with your snoring.
