During a menstrual cycle a woman might ahve attacks during the sleep at the same time. This can happen a lot or just a few times during that time of month. It is something that is really rare and does not happen often and only around 200 people have been confirmed in having this disorder. People ten years of age and older can get it. Symptoms of menstrual-related hypersomnia: - sleepiness two-three days during the week Menstrual-related hypersomnia is treated by medications and sometimes with the use of taking birth control pills. When someone enters into adulthood it can often times leave and not come back but sometimes it still stays and treatment continues with therapy that might be needed.
